Distance from Nostril to Pharyngeal Mouth of Eustachian Tube

Abstract
|
|
|
The distance from nostril to pharyngeal mouth of eustachian tube in both side was measured by using eustachian catheter in 100 healthy cases. Of which 50 cases are male and 50 cases are female, and ages ranged from 20 to 30. The results are shown in the table 1-3.
The distance from nostril to pharyngeal mouth of eustachian tube is 85.58 mm in male and 84,03 mm in female. The sex difference is significant. The sym-E metry cases are 64 in both sex.
